A charming lizard ring from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This gorgeous piece features a diamond-encrusted lizard made of silver-topped gold, which was once a Victorian stick pin and has now been converted into a lovely ring. The lizard is set atop a simple and smooth 14kt gold band. Decorating its head, body and tail are 12 sparkling diamonds, which range in size and add a wonderful sparkle! Subtle, delicately carved detail on the lizard's face depicts its eyes and mouth. A very whimsical and animated piece, it has a wonderful look and would make a delightful addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 7 but could be easily re-sized. The lizard measures approximately 3/4" long and 3/16" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the diamonds are intact.
